Jin Lim Vice President, Media Research and Development

Lim, who joined STRATA in 2003, holds a mathematics degree from the University of Chicago and Master of Science, Computer Science from DePaul University. The point person for research and development at STRATA, Lim has hosted several summits of top research people in the industry to advance innovation in media buying and selling software. “Speaking to leaders in the industry and being at the center of developing new media buying/selling software is extremely rewarding.”
Lim was promoted to Vice President in 2011. “The areas in which STRATA is working right now are so exciting. We have been in the business so long, that’s what makes us special. We developed the core tools that people trust and we continue to move that forward. We have a great research area and we use that experience to offer depth and help monetize against metrics.”
Lim works very closely with the Data Services department and is deeply involved with all of STRATA’s industry leading data products and media groups. Part of her duties include seeing how all of the various data relates to sales for agencies, broadcast groups and cable MSO’s. “To problem solve from behind the scenes is extremely gratifying.”
Lim not only brings a wealth of knowledge but also a breadth of experience to STRATA. Straight out of college, she moved to Korea for a year and truly immersed herself in the culture. “What an amazing experience - to learn so much from the people there and to be in such a unique country. It helped me grow and be able to tackle any task and challenge that would come my way.”
